Final exam
Our final exam is Friday, 8AM. It is a comprehensive exam, and should take approximately two hours. Last years final exam, to help you study: Spring 07 Final
Test 4
Update: Test 4 Solutions.
Test 3
Update: Test 3 Solutions.
Our third test is Friday, April 11. It will cover the material in sections 6.1-6.5 as well as the word problems from section 5.7. For sample problems of the chapter 6 material, look at problems 1-8 of the Spring 2007 Test 3. For sample word problems, look at the old test 2 (see below). You will be provided with a trig identities formula sheet.
Test 2
Update: Test 2 Solutions.
Our second test is Friday, March 7. It will cover the material in sections 5.1-5.5 of your textbook. This test is the one I gave in spring of 2007, but I'm not sure how useful it will be to you. Your test will be quite different- for one, the only trig graphs I am expecting you to know so far are the sine and cosine graphs. For another, you won't have those kinds of word problems.
Quiz and homework update
The snow day has thrown us a little bit off schedule. We will have the unit circle quiz on Friday and the trig values quiz on Monday. The homework will be due on Monday.

Test 1
Update: for future reference, Test 1 Solutions.
Our first test will be Wednesday, February 13. It will cover the material in chapter 4 of the textbook. To help you study I am supplying my first test from when I taught this class last year (together with the solutions). It may give you an idea of what to expect. Test 1, spring 2007.
Transformations
Each time we introduce the graph of a new functions we will also graph elementary transformations of it. So if you are a little rusty on transformations, you will want to review. Transformation Guide: this is just a one-page guide to the basic transformations.
